I had no idea when I saw the thumbnail that ...Wow! I had no idea when I saw the thumbnail that the doily was embossed! I know what you mean about the darn powder. I love to emboss and I can examine a card until I am half blind and I will still get speckling. I even heat from behind the card and it still shows up after I heat it. I think you are right, black pigment ink and clear embossing powder is the way to go. Well, back to you card.....it is gorgeous. A great inkling turned into a fantastic card. Love the white, black, and green. Just lovely.
