Hello everyone and welcome to another Wednesday and new Freshly Made Sketches sketch!
I have the honor of hosting this week's sketch. It is one I go to often (maybe too much!). I love all of the space it gives me to work with a colored image.
This week's sketch~
I cannot get enough of Stamping Bella's Edna! I colored her with Copics and then did the partial fussy cutting around her wing. I added Wink of Stella to her wings and some SSS sequins finish off the card.
The design team has been busy creating again and they have some beautiful inspiration for you! Head over to the FMS blog and check them out and then join us!
I am so looking forward to seeing what you create!
I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp 'Anything Goes' Wednesday challenge.
I am also linking up to Addicted to Stamps and More- CAS

PinkFresh Studio Challenge
Hello!
I discovered the challenge over at PinkFresh Studio and had to play along. I have really taken a liking to their stamps! I used this fantastic set, Lush Greenery, but I did not make the greenery green as I used the challenge colors.

My color inspiration came from PinkFresh Studio's monthly challenge~
These colors are not ones I usually use and REEEAAALLLLY stretched me. The bit of patterned paper is from Simon Says Stamp June '18 card kit and I am just getting around to opening it up and using it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made Sketches Goes Masculine
Hello, Hello and Welcome to Wednesday and a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches! Jacquie is up with her first sketch for FMS; she has a way with CAS cards that tends to leave me drooling, lol!
I have to admit, this is the kind of sketch that just leaves me stressed and frazzled. However, this go around I decided to take a different approach and did a little Google search for some inspiration~
The sketch~
I searched the words '9 squares' and came up with this photo and thought it could be turned into a great masculine card-
So, all in all, I guess I took both the sketch and then the inspiration I found quite literally.
Hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to check out the fantastic inspiration from the rest of the team. These ladies are soooo talented.
I am linking up to Watercooler Wednesday challenge- masculine 'anything goes'.
Can't wait to see your take on this sketch!

Birthday Sprinkles
Hello All and Happy Friday!
And what a happy Friday it is as it is the start of my Spring Break! Yay! I see lots of crafting and road trips in my future this week!
I made a quick birthday card to replenish my stash. I was inspired by a few challenges~
The image is from Unity from the set Birthday Soul.
I was inspired by this card from the Global Design Project Challenge~
I cased the basic design of three items in the right lower corner as well as the sentiment being on the top left.
I was also inspired by the challenge at Pinspirational Challenges~
I really liked all of those sprinkles and thought it would be fun to mimic them. I masked off some of the detail on the icing of the cup cakes. This allowed my to draw in tiny circles using a Micron pen.
I tried to match the colors of the sprinkles with those in the photo. I kept things very simple, finishing it off with a turquoise scalloped frame (MFT) , sequins, and Wink of Stella.
I am also linking up to Time Out Challenges where they are celebrating their 5th birthday. Happy Birthday Time Out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Flowers for Mom and FSM
Hi Everyone!
It is time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Despite the weather, spring has sprung in my craft room. Judy is hosting her first challenge this week and she has a real beauty for us! I pulled out some Altenew products to make this Mother's Day card.
Here is this week's sketch~
I was inspired by the inspiration photo at Altenew~
I used the frond from the Focus on You stamp set, fanning it out in a circle shape; this represents the circle in the back on the sketch. The flowers are from the Sweet Rose Bouquet stamp set. I used the really nifty Weave Builder stencil and sponged some Morning Frost ink through it. Sentiment is from the Extra Special stamp set.
I am really hooked on the Grout Gray cardstock from MFT and I used one of their stitched rectangle dies to cut my image panel. A vellum circle grounds the flowers.
I am also linking up to this month's The Flower Challenge, where this month the challenge is 'Anything Goes'.
I am also linking up to Addicted to Stamps and More- Make Your Mark.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please visit the Freshly Made Sketches blog to be inspired the the rest of the team's fantastic inspiration, then link up your own project to the challenge.

Some Sweet Treats for Freshly Made Sketches
Hello and Happy Spring (almost)!
Welcome to the first Freshly Made Sketch of March. This week's sketch, 378, is by the talented Amy!
Here is your fun sketch!
As you can see, I turned the sketch, AND, I cheated a little, using an image that already had three objects in a row in it. :D
I was inspired by the colors at Sunday Stamps~
This Stamping Bella image was just begging to see ink. I used copics for the macaroons and did a water colored background. Once again, I used my scalloped rectangle die from MFT to frame it. Sentiment is PTI.
Check out the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the team, then link up your own creation to Freshly Made Sketches!
I am also linking up to Global Design Project, where their theme this week is sweet treats!

Gina K Florals
Hello Again!
I had colored up an image for The Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge and needed to turn it into a card. I used Gina K's stamp set, You Make Me Smile. Gina has a floral challenge going on so I will be linking up there.
I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch~
The spotlight image is colored with Copics. I finally got my hands on some of MFT's Gray Grout cardstock and used that for my card base. The background image is stamped in Gray Grout. The sentiment is stamped in WPlus9's Warm Wool ink. Pretty straight forward, don't you think?
I am also linking up to Double D challenges- Pink and White

Mama Elephant and PinkFresh Studio
Hello All!
I am settling in for a long, quiet weekend in anticipation of lots of snow tonight here in St Louis. While I am a bit tired of snow, I do love the 'cozy up' feeling these kinds of days bring. So, I can color away!
I used two stamp sets for this card, the bear is a Mama Elephant set and the Lush Greenery is from PinkFresh~
Green is one of my favorite colors; after looking at my Instagram page, I realized I had not been using it lately. I was seeing a lot of pink and red! Hmmm flowers, maybe...?
Anywho, this foliage set was a must-have when I saw it. I realized after playing around with the stamp that it would pair perfectly with this adorable Mama Elephant Bear. Both are colored with Copics and fussy cut out. My background panel is sponged with distress inks and spattered with water. The background panel was then cut out using a rectangle die from SugarPea Designs.
I really love how this turned out. So how about you? Do you have a favorite color?
I am linking up to
Watercooler Wednesday, All About Ocassions
Mix It Up- Inked Background
And a new to me feature by Virginia Lu called Show and Share!
Thanks for stopping by! Happy March!

Going Yellow with the Rainbow Card Challenge!
Hello, Hello!
Here we are, already March 1st!!! Spring is right around the corner- can I get an Amen?
In honor of spring, I have chosen this sweet duck from Simon Says Stamp set, Showers and Flowers, for this month's The Rainbow Card Challenge card. Follow us on Instagram at The Rainbow Card Challenge and tag your challenge cards with #rainbowcardchallenge so we can see your creations on Instagram!
This month, we are creating in Monochromatic Yellow!
I think this duck is pretty adorable! I colored the image with Copics, then die cut out with a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle Die.
I don't tend to use this much patterned paper, but I was inspired by the sketch at The Paper Players this week and it really lent it self to the paper.
I am also linking up to Inkspirational Challenges- Use Your Stash
So if you haven't yet, hop over to the blog and check out the rest of the inspiration from the talented team! Then link up your own creative work in yellow!
Have a blessed weekend!
