Fall Wreath

 Hello and Happy Last Weekend Before November!

Kind of hard to believe, isn't it?  I am already expecting the next two months to fly by.  In the meantime, I am getting in some crafty time.  

Yep, you have seen these flowers before and I am sure they will show up again!  I love them and they are from the SnSS My Savior's Love Stamp Set.  They were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and water colored with Ken Oliver Colorbursts.  I got the colors from The Card Concept Challenge.  This fits their Clean and Layered style.   

The leaves are from the True Beauty Stamp Set, are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copics.  I had a gold mirrored circle/ring die cut on my desk and it worked quite nicely with the colors I was working with.  

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  I flipped it, putting the banners on top and changed the rectangle to a circle.  

The sentiment banners are from the SnSS The Future Stamp Set.  Of course, I added sequins for sparkle.

Pink Poinsettia

 Hello and Happy New Week!

I snuck in a little crafting this morning and am continuing to build the Christmas card stash.  

I took out my SnSS set, Poinsettia Greetings- it was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, using my MISTI and then colored with Copics.  I was going to keep it one layer, but I never seem to be able to do that, so I fussy cut out the flower. 

I pulled out a snowflake embossed background panel from my leftover stash (hard to see it on this photo) and popped up the poinsettia on a couple of layers of scrap cardstock.  I needed to give it a litle more pizzazz so I stamped the pine branch from the Christmas Pine Stamp Set using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. 

The sentiment is from the Jesus is Born Stamp Set.  I added a few sequins for sparkle.

Hope for the World

 Hello  Again!

Happy Friday to you all.  We have the day off today, so I am squeezing in a little stamping.  I just love this cardinal.  He's such a pudgy little guy.  

The Jingle Belles have a new challenge up, 'Not a creature was stirring'.  I wanted to use this cardinal from the Sweet n Sassy Stamps set, Beautiful Birds.  He was colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  

I gave him some greenery to rest in, using the Christmas Pine Stamp Set.  I stamped the mirror image of the pine branch, using my MISTI and Waffle Flower Water Media Mat.  There are lots of tutorials out there on how to do this if you want to give it a try.  

The background was stamped with the Wood Backgrounds Stamp Set using MFT Grout Grey Ink.  I arranged the pieces and decided on the placement of the sentiment, which is from the Thrill of Hope Stamp Set.  I also diecut a scalloped edge with the Scalloped Borders Die Set.  Everything was assembled and I added SSS Moonshine sequins for sparkle.

More Verses

 Hello All!  

The week AND the month are flying by.  We finally have real fall weather here and it feels so good.  Don't hate me for this, but I am starting to get the itch to decorate for Christmas and play Christmas music. I'm not going to,  but it is sounding pretty good right now. 

I have more scripture cross reference verses for the Book of Hebrews.  

Starting out with a printable from Bible Journaling Tips and Tricks, I inked around the edges with Distress ink and Distress Oxide Ink.  Then I layered some leaves on top of that using Distress Oxide Ink and a stencil.  

I stamped a few bees and the floral wreath from the Flower Garden Stamp Set from SnSS with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on heavy printer paper, colored with Copics and then fussy cut out.  I adhered those images to the page and was ready to go.  Writing is done with my Zig Millenium Black tip pens. 

I need to make time to make more cards, but I feel like time is slipping away.
