Let's Do Lunch with Impression Obsession!

Coloring.  my favorite part of card making.  This wonderful image, Artichoke, is just perfect for coloring.  

Here, I colored it with Ken Oliver Colorbursts and Prismacolor Pencils.  The sentiment is from The Skinny Stamp Set.  The sentiment strip, gold string and some sequins finish the card.

Welcome Winter

 Hello!  We are celebrating winter this week at Impression Obsession.  

This beautiful  scene makes a fabulous Christmas card.  It is called Snowy Studio.  I simply stamped the image in red ink and then added a sentiment strip using the sentiment Peace Today.  It is stamped in IO Black Ink.  

I added a sweet little deer die cut in kraft cs using the Deer Trio Dies. A few sequins finish the card.

Fluttering By on Day 2 of the Impression Obsession New Release Hop!

 Hello!  

Welcome to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession November New Release Blog Hop! If you have come from Laura Williams's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop.

If you love to color, Dina Kowal's designs are for you!  This Luna Moth is just magnificent! 

I stamped the image in InkOn3's FadeOut No Line Coloring Ink then colored the moth with Copics.  Details were added with Prismacolor Pencils.  Next, I masked off the moth with some post it notes and stamped the Marble Texture Stamp in grey ink.  The sentiment, Hurting, was stamped in IO Black Ink.  A few sequins finish the card.  

And for the artist in you~

This sweet little Art Saves stamp is perfect as the centerpiece of your card.  I colored it with Copics in the same colors as the background.  The background panel is a monoprint made with my Gel Press Gel Plate.  The Art Saves image was die cut out with the Stitched Tag Frame Die. The background panel was die cut with the Crazy Stitched Rectangle Die.

This kitty though!  He pops up in the most unlikely places, this time in a moving box!  This Fragile Kitty is such a cute image and sentiment for that friend who just bought a new home.   

I kept things very CAS, stamping the image in IO Black Ink and coloring in neutrals and very pale colors with Copics. A few sequins finish this simple card.  Sentiment is Home Sweet Home.  

Kitties not your thing?  How about this adorable Cottage- 

I colored the cottage with Copics and fussy cut it out.  The background is done with the House Plans CAC.  The sentiment, Congratulations, is heat embossed in white on a black sentiment strip.  I few enamel dots finish this fun card.
