Hello and Happy New Year to You!
Welcome to the Seasons Givings Blog Hop.
As a thank you for being a blog reader/follower, there will be a give away to one random commenter on my blog; actually, everyone on this list is giving something away. All you need to do is go to their blog and leave a comment, so be sure to settle in with a cup of coffee and enjoy the creativity!
Lee Ann Barrett- you are here. Thanks for leaving me a comment!
I have been considering card styles lately, trying to figure out what I like and how I create and why. I gravitate to elegant cards but will try just about anything; today I tackled the collage style card~
What about other card styles?
I enjoy clean and layered cards, although often mine tend to be more 'natural' and layered~
I have learned to embrace cas cards~
Maybe you are a vintage/shabby chic girl. I enjoyed creating this shabby card~
But, as I said, elegant cards seem to be what I gravitate to ~
So, what style are you? I am sure we could name other styles, and I have certainly made cards that do not seem to fit in any category. I would love it if you let me know what style you like and which of my above mentioned cards is your favorite. Crafty Style. It is something to think about for the new year!
Now on to the giveaway! Please note that unfortunately, due to shipping costs, I cannot ship out of the U.S. You have until January 5th, 11:59 EST to comment for a chance to win this giveaway. Winner will be announced January 6th at 9pm EST.

ReplyDeleteI have 2 favorites. The fall card and the birthday card but you do all of the styles well! Happy New Year and thanks for a chance to win your goodies!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Cards! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMy style is very eclectic! Some days I go vintage others modern. Some days I go steam punk or I mix them all together to make my own style! I mostly lean towards vintage but don't consider myself a vintage crafter because I love all styles. It all depends on my mood at that particular time and who I am creating for! I absolutely LOVE both of your butterfly cards! They are stunning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great prize package you are offering!!! Would love to be a winner! Thank you for the chance!
I love clean, simple, elegant cards! My favorite card of yours was the layered one with the pumpkin, I think it's because I also adore fall and woodgrains!
ReplyDeleteLove the recap of last year's cards...all so very pretty! Happy new year to you!
ReplyDeleteI love ALL of your styles of cards, they are gorgeous!!! My style is more of the 'eclectic' vein.....meaning I don't gravitate to just one style. I do however LOVE my layers, the more the merrier! ;) Happy New year!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration! Happy 2014!
ReplyDeleteHi Lee Ann, I find your question very interesting because I can't figure out my style. I love to create a CAS card (when I do it right), I am totally drawn to your shabby ChIc card and I find that I am always in love with those when I see them but I can't seem to CREATE them. I would almost have to say that for me my favorites of yours are the collage and the shabby chic. (but they are all fabulous and I love looking at your SCS gallery) I am not sure but I think my "style" is clean with layers. I have been really thinking about this for about 6 months. What's my style? What do I like? Ever notice that some cards are a breeze to create and others are a struggle. I want to know why and how to create better in 2014!!! Thanks for offering this fun giveaway! Happy New Year and I will see around SCS (ohmypaper!)
ReplyDeleteLove these styles, but can't accomplish them, so I stick with CAS....I can't enter (again) because I am in Canada..
ReplyDeleteI think all your cards are elegant! Clean elegant, natural elegant, fun elegant, but all elegant. I think my favorite is the New Year card. It is just so festive! My personal style is CAS. I don't always do it right, but it is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love the Embrace Life's Changes card! I tend to be a more vintage card maker, but do like to also make very clean cards as well. Lee Ann, THANK YOU so much for sharing your beautiful art & talent with us all! I hope that 2014 brings much happiness and success your way! Marcilcollins@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteAll your cards are beautiful! And you nailed each style, I think! I don't know if I have a style. Well, I have a style, but I don't know what category it falls into. I'm not CAS but I don't overload embellishments either. I do love the elegant classic look, but don't know if I really pull that off either. Oh well, it's all fun and it's fun to try any style.
ReplyDeleteI am mostly a clean and simple girl. I love the layered, shabby chic, eclectic look, but I never seem to pull it off the way I want. This blog hop has been so much fun! Thank you for a chance to win!

ReplyDeleteI, myself, tend to be a CAS kind of card maker. I just don't have a lot of time to do lots of details. As for your cards, though, I just LOVE your last one which is definitely elegant. Thanks for a chance to win a great prize, too. :D
