Shaping Up with Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

Hello Everyone, and Welcome to our final day of
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps February New Release Blog Hop!
Today we are featuring a very versatile set, Shape Up.  This new 4"x4" stamp set coordinates with our Shape Dies but can be used alone, as well, to create backgrounds and patterns of all kinds.

The teardrop shape was stamped 8 times in Blushing Bride ink and then fussy Cut out.  The leaves were die cut out with the matching tear drop shape die and the edges were sponged with Pistachio ink. I used a couple of dies and a button to create the flower center and grounded the flower with a half doily and a border strip across the card.  The color combo is from Dynamic Duos and was quite a challenging one this week!

I can never get too much of a rainbow of colors.  I stamped the chevron several times in the ROYGBIV colors (minus the indigo and plus an extra green so I guess it really is not ROY!) and then die cut them out with its matching die.  I layered them on a strip of black cs and then for some unknown reason, decided I needed to cut this strip in half lengthwise.  I then rematted them on black cs and added them to a white card base that had been stamped with a sentiment from the Grunge Elements set and embossed with an embossing folder of flowers mimicking the flowers on the stamped image.

  • The tear drop image measures approximately 1.13" x 1.5"
  •  Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set is $11
