Hello Everyone,
I am blogging over on the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog today and am sharing these cards~
Have you ever noticed how masculine cards never seem as much fun to make as feminine cards do? I was determined to use this versatile new set, Shape Up, for a guy card- more specifically, a mailable guy card. Black and Crumb Cake seemed to be the perfect color combo. I stamped a pattern for my background panel, then used a cat tail image and stamped off once before stamping it on my image panel. I stamped my sentiment over this and finished the panel off with a hand drawn black line around its edge. I finally decided to part with some of this gorgeous ribbon as it was perfect for this card. Some twine and a button finish off my 'guy' card.
Next up, a spring'y' collage style card~
The hexagon image was stamped in red and die cut out. I fussy cut out my pink flower and added a couple of leaves to that using my Small Leaves Dies. For my narrow panel, I stamped the Delightfully Delicate Background in red on the Crumb Cake cs and then added a white scalloped edge to it. My background panel is embossed with the Stampin' Up Polka Dot embossing folder. A bow made from Hemptique twine (my favorite) finishes off the card.
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge asks us to use Kraft ink or paper on our project.
That's it for me today; I hope you are staying warm!
Have a blessed week!
Lee Ann :)
