Happy Saturday, the last Saturday of July!
Goodness, where has the summer gone?? I am starting to sweat over the thought of going back to work, LOL! I so enjoy my summers off, especially since I love to travel.
Kraftin' Kimmie's Saturday Challenge is all about travel and vacations this week. I went CAS with my card~
I used the new Sweet Summer Sentiments set; I thought this would make a great card for a guy, specifically my father. The anchor is popped up on a bit of dimensional and has some Hemptique twine through it.
The sentiment was heat embossed with clear ep and color added with distress inks and water. I ironed off the embossing once I had the color how I wanted it.
So now it is your turn! Hop on over to the blog to see all of the wonderful inspiration from my teamies and then link up your creation!
I used this week's CAS(E) This Sketch~
and am also linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge- 'I for Inspiration'. For this card, the 'i' is for ink and for iron off.
At AAA Cards, the challenge is 'Waterworld'.
Paper Sweeties has a red, white and blue challenge for July.
Thanks so much for stopping by and can't wait to see what you create!
Lee Ann :)
Simply awesome back ground Lee Ann and a perfect waterworld look with the anchor too.
