Also, a big Thank You to Latisha Yoast for organizing this yearly hop!
Did you find as I did that 2015 just sailed by? Every year I have so many
goals, desires and new ideas and it seems every year goes by with those
remaining untapped.
One goal I have every year is to comment more on your blogs. Unfortunately I was not too successful in that area. I do not have good internet and that really makes it tough.
That won't stop me from trying again this year though!
A second goal was to craft for me and
be happy with what I crafted; success!
On to the blog candy-
Fun Stampers Journey stamps, nip; Top Dog Dies border die, nip; Unity Stamps small stamp kit, nip; Technique Tuesday stamps and matching dies, nip; Pebbles oversized paperclips

Coloring. What a comeback it made this year!
I was thrilled as another goal of mine was to improve my coloring.
And then there was watercoloring. Did you get into the

ReplyDeleteFantastic giveaway - thanks! I have so many mediums -- inks, watercolors (both pencils and the Gansai Tambi watercolors), crayons, markers, and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. But I find myself going back to my prismacolor pencils over and over -- I'm so much better at coloring and blending with those than with any other medium (maybe because I use them the most? lol) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards - really love the watercolors! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Happy New Year!!! <3
ReplyDeleteI color using prismacolor pencils and acrylic paints!
This year, I did a lot of watercolors, but in 2016 I'm going to master the copic markers (fingers crossed)! Have a warm and crafty 2016!

Best wishes for a very blessed 2016!
I try to color, I'm more of a watercolor painter but very new at it. I enjoy using Derwent water color pencils and my handy aqua painter.
ReplyDeleteI follow you through Feedly as it keeps me up to date no matter where I am. Love the card you did for the latest challenge, that explosion of colour behind the woman is perfect as is your colouring of her. I love LOVE colouring and if you saw my blog you would think I love copics most but really love my watercolours and Inktense just as much but its easier to travel with the copics and so quick that much of what I get done ends up copic. Doesnt matter though cause I love to colour.
ReplyDeleteI like colouring with alcohol-based markers. I have yet to try watercolors, but that is one of my goals for 2016! Thanks for offering the prize and all the best in 2016!

I popped into your blog through the Seasons Giving Blog Hop, and find your cards so gorgeous, so now I am a follower here and also on Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteFrom time to time I try som coloring, with Promarkers, but find it rather difficult.
I am sure I will find a lot of inspiration on your blog :))
You are clearly a coloring artist! I love the color and details in all your cards. My favorite is the butterfly. Love the concept and the sentiment. Just amazing. I mostly do cards, but just for family and friends. I love to color with colored pencils, or watercolor pencils. I may try to do some coloring with alcohol markers, but I am not sure I can justify the expense (I am one of those who must have every color in everything I use!) I use watercolor mostly as backgrounds, and love playing with it that way! Thanks so much for sharing your talent!
ReplyDeleteI haven't colored for years but just got a set of alcohol markers and am going to try again. My adult grandson got watercolor pencils as a gift and I'm waiting for his evaluation of the medium. Of course he is much more artistic that I am. I really want to try watercolor backgrounds using pigment powders like the background of your Let's Celebrate card. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI just signed on as follower - lead on!
ReplyDeleteWatercolor pencils! And who really, can resist a new box of crayons????? Cook a of course! I've also been trying my hand at watercolor!

I am now following you on Pinterest and the Google dashboard/follower. I don't have an Instagram account. I love your watercolored cards, especially the butterflies done with Copics and the pink flowers done with Peerless Watercolors. Very beautiful!! I love the soft pastel color in the flowers!! Thank you very much for sharing and participating in this blog hop and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my favorite color has always been turquoise. Since distress inks came out, my two favorite colors are picked raspberry and peacock feathers, especially when used together.
