Hi Everyone!
I hope your weekend was splendid! We had some gorgeous weather, which I took advantage of and hiked 10 miles over the course of the weekend. I also destressed with crafting, including practicing watercoloring, which continues to give me trouble. I tried watercoloring layers on this card, which would traditionally be separate paper panels.
My sketch is from Viva la Verve~
Can you kind of sorta see the layers? I used distress inks for the watercolored background; the Unity image- Always Today- is colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Latina Crafter.
I was also inspired by the GORGEOUS colors from Stampin Celebration Challenge.
I am also linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge- 'Make Your Own Background'
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
Lee Ann :)
So cool Lee Ann.
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, love the sentiment! Such a cute card! I think your watercoloring looks great. I must work on my watercoloring. Sometimes I get a little weary of using Copics all the time.

ReplyDeleteI think your watercoloring is just perfect! Love the colors and I think that stack of coffee cups is so cute! I used to walk everywhere and 3 miles a day was my usual...now I have many problems with my feet and can barely walk around in my yard. Go girl!
