Hello, Hello!
I hope everyone is staying warm. Not only is it cold, cold, cold but it is a 3-day weekend as well. Perfect for relaxing in the craft room. I spent a little time watching some videos from Jennifer McGuire just to break out of a crafty rut. I gave her mixed media panels a try and absolutely love how they turned out. I only used a small strip of a panel on this card, but it really makes the card!
I used my Altenew Dotted Swirls Debossing Covering Die for the background panel. The butterfly is from an old SB card kit. I die cut it from mirrored gold cs.
I had a couple of distress ink strips left over from another project and they worked perfectly with my mixed media panel.
The mixed media panel uses distress inks- cracked pistachio, salty ocean, and peacock feathers, SnSS Going Postal Stamp Set, an old stencil, Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink, clear embossing paste and a Tim Holtz stencil, and some shimmer spray.
The sentiment is from the SnSS Birthday Wordfetti Stamp Set. I used Memento Teal Zeal Ink for the sentiment.
A few sequins finish the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Stay warm!
Lee Ann
