Using Leftovers

 Hello, Hello!

Do you have certain card layouts that you return to over and over?  This is one of my favorites~

I used a few bits and pieces I had in my stash- a yellow card front die cut that I cut down, a yellow circle die with stamped background, a scrap of aqua patterned paper and  one of my favorite floral images from SnSS My Savior's Love Stamp Set.

The aqua paper was die cut with the same die as the yellow card front die cut and the pieces were inset into the yellow die cut.  the flowers were colored with Copics.  The sentiment is a stamp from Stamp Simply and is stamped with Versafine Claire ink.  A few SSS Moonshine sequins finish the card.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Blue Beauty

 Hello Friends!

Every now and again I like to look through images, die cuts, card bases etc. that are in the 'did not use' pile.  This card base has been in my stash for at least a couple of years.  It was time to use it!

Watercolor paper had been, well, watercolored and the green watercolored leaves were die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Die, Outline Clustered Leaves; I kept the negative space leaf shapes.  Then the blue piece was die cut with the same die.  I only used a portion of that background piece.  The white outline was inset into the blue background and then glued down to the card base.  The green pieces were then inset into the outline leaves.

I finally decided that all it needed was a big flower to finish the card, so I stamped and colored with Copics one of my favorites from SnSS, True Beauty.  I fussy cut it out, added some scrap cs behind it to pop it up just a bit, adhered it and then stamped the sentiment with My new favorite sentiment ink, Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink.  Scripture sentiment is from Stamp Simply.

I added a few SSS Moonshine sequins to finish the card.

Pot Full of Daisies

 Hello !

I picked up this stamp set from Top Flight Stamps.  It is a Jane's Doodles set from Creative Expressions.

This coffee pot won me over!  I am not a coffee drinker but I think this is just adorable and it reminds me of the chrome one my mom had when I was a kid.

The image was colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  My background panel was stamped with an IO Stamps Cover A Card Background Stamp, Leaf Ledger; it is stamped in Maple Yellow Ink from Altenew.

The frame is made with MFT's Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Edge Dies.  I gave the coffee pot a bit of dimension by adding some scrap cs to the back of it.

The sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps, Choose Faith. A few yellow sequins were added for sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by!

I used the sketch at MFT~

Mom's Butterfly

 Hello Friends!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

I started with the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers Stamp Set and stamped and colored the flower and extra leaves with Copics.  The butterfly is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.  After coloring, all images were fussy cut out.

I created a window in the white panel with a retired PTI Die.  The pink background panel was heat embossed with the SnSS Typewriter Text Background Stamp and clear embossing powder. I determined the placement of my leaves and flowers, then determined the placement of my sentiment.  The sentiment was stamped in my MISTI with Versafine Claire ink.

The white panel was popped up and the foliage was adhered to the card.  A few SSS Moonshine sequins finish the card.
