Fall Florals

Hello Again!

How is it October already?  The seasons seem to rush by this time of year.  More and more, I try to enjoy the season I am in before rushing on to the next season.  

It does not quite look like fall outside yet, but you can feel it coming.  I am ready for warm and cozy!

I tried to get out of my comfort zone with colors. The little golden/yellow flowers are so sweet and they are from the SnSS Blooming Anemones Stamp Set.  The teal flower and the two heat embossed leaves are from the Colors of Fall Stamp Set.  The leaves were stamped with Versamark ink and on some scrap patterned paper and heat embossed with Gina K Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  

The flowers and leaves were fussy cut out and layered on the panel, using scraps of cs and dimensional tape to give dimension to the floral spray.  

The sentiment is from the Hello My Name Is Stamp Set; it was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and fussy cut out.  A few SSS Moonshine Sequins and some Wink of Stella on the flower petals finish off the card.

A Cup of Fall

 Hello, Hello!  

I am easing my way into fall cards; these sweet 'shrooms seemed to be the perfect images and I love to fill this cup with them.  

I have so much fun filling the coffee cups in the I Like Big Cups Stamp Set from SnSS.  This time I used the sets Flower Garden Stamp Set and Furever Friends Stamp Set.  The images were colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  I filled the cup and then started assembling the card using the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  

The sentiment is from the Faith Phrases Stamp Set.  I added a few SSS Moonshine Sequins for some sparkle.  

I am also linking up to Time Out Challenges for their Inspired by Words Challenge.  I was inspired by the word plant.  I am also linking up to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge,  and Four Seasons Challenge- Autumn.

Pumpkin Patch

 Hello!  

I mixed some new and old goodies to make a fall card this weekend.  

I used the new Holiday Truck Clear Stamp Set from Impression Obsession; I love the versatility as it comes with pumpkins as shown, Christmas trees and snowmen! 

I colored the truck with Copics and fussy cut it out.  The background was done with watercolors.  The sentiment is from a retired set; the clouds are from the Stitched Clouds Die

Scare a Crow

Hello!

The closer we get to September, the more excited I get about fall.  I love everything about it.  Including pumpkin patches, corn mazes and scare crows.  Are you looking forward to fall? 

These dies are brand new from Spellbinders and are part of the Happy Harvest Collection.  This set is aptly named Scare a Crow.  All of the pieces were die cut from white cs and colored with Copics,   The corn stalks are so stinkin cute!  They were assembled using Gina k. Connect Glue.  The background was done with distress inks.  I used a bit of torn paper as a mask to create a bit of a horizon.  This is one of my favorite fall sentiments which is from the Happy Scarecrow Stamp Set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

Over the River and Through the Woods

 Hello and Happy November!  

I don't know about you, but I am super excited for Thanksgiving.  Tradition is my jam so a full turkey dinner even if it is just for two is always on the menu. 
 And speaking of tradition, do you have certain songs that you associate with holidays?  How about Over the River and Through the Woods?  Oh my, that song is Thanksgiving to a t!  
This image and scene reminds me of that song;  Travelling to grandmother's house, which we always did as kids.  So many memories!  

I used the fabulous Vintage Van Stamp Set-gotta love the pumpkins!  I used distress inks and Ken Oliver Colorburst Watercolors to color the scene.  The van is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The trees were done using the Scene Silhouettes -Trees Stamp Set, inked them up with distress inks and then spritzed with water before stamping onto Arches Watercolor Paper.  Sentiment is from the Fall Remix-Autumn Splendor Stamp Set.  Did you notice the license plate?!

I am entering in the Paper Players Challenge, Turkey Time.  

As well as Tic Tac Toe Challenge~
I have used Everything but the wreath in the tic tac toe squares.

 Hello!  

Just popping in for a quick post to share this wreath.  I was gifted with the dies for this stamp set by a Stamp Junkies friend, Marci Snee.  

This set is from Simon Says Stamp in collaboration with Clearly Besotted.  Sentiment is PTI.

I used the sketch from MOJO Monday. 

   I was inspired by the colors at Sunday Stamps.
