Girlie Colors

 Hello All,

The school year is winding down and I am ready for summer!  We have had lots of rain and I am looking forward to sunnier days.  Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Today's card color palette was inpired by the Inspired By Challenge.

The sketch is from Sunday Stamps~

The background stamp is from Impression Obsession (now closed) and the floral image is from Creative Worship Stamps.  I stamped off once with the background image to get a distressed, vintage look.

The image is colored with Copics and fussy cut out.

Circle die cuts are SSS and base layer die cut is MFT.

I am also linking up to Word Art Wednesday and The Four Seasons Challenge.

Black and White Beauty

 Hello, Hello!

I needed to add a few sympathy cards to my stash so I grabbed my SSS Beautiful Flowers Stamp Set.  I opted for a very clean look, so kept the card black and white.

The image was heat embossed with using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and clear embossing powder.  The image was then fussy cut out.  The background panel was embossed with and ef.  I popped the floral image up with some scrap cardstock.

The sentiment is 3 layers of die cuts made using the Avery Ell Sympathy die set.  A few sequins in black and white finish the card.

Thanks for stopping and have a blessed weekend!

Blue Beauty

 Hello Friends!

Every now and again I like to look through images, die cuts, card bases etc. that are in the 'did not use' pile.  This card base has been in my stash for at least a couple of years.  It was time to use it!

Watercolor paper had been, well, watercolored and the green watercolored leaves were die cut with a Simon Says Stamp Die, Outline Clustered Leaves; I kept the negative space leaf shapes.  Then the blue piece was die cut with the same die.  I only used a portion of that background piece.  The white outline was inset into the blue background and then glued down to the card base.  The green pieces were then inset into the outline leaves.

I finally decided that all it needed was a big flower to finish the card, so I stamped and colored with Copics one of my favorites from SnSS, True Beauty.  I fussy cut it out, added some scrap cs behind it to pop it up just a bit, adhered it and then stamped the sentiment with My new favorite sentiment ink, Versafine Claire Nocturne Ink.  Scripture sentiment is from Stamp Simply.

I added a few SSS Moonshine sequins to finish the card.

Mom's Butterfly

 Hello Friends!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there!

I started with the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers Stamp Set and stamped and colored the flower and extra leaves with Copics.  The butterfly is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.  After coloring, all images were fussy cut out.

I created a window in the white panel with a retired PTI Die.  The pink background panel was heat embossed with the SnSS Typewriter Text Background Stamp and clear embossing powder. I determined the placement of my leaves and flowers, then determined the placement of my sentiment.  The sentiment was stamped in my MISTI with Versafine Claire ink.

The white panel was popped up and the foliage was adhered to the card.  A few SSS Moonshine sequins finish the card.

Blessed Bloom

 Hello Friends,

I got a little crafty time in this weekend and played in a couple of challenges.

I used the Freshly Made Sketches sketch~

And the colors from Color My Heart Color Dare~

I started with the half circles and die cut a scalloped circle from IO's Scalloped Stitched Circle Die Set.

I had a black white circle in my stash that fit perfectly in the scalloped circle.  I cut the scalloped circle in half and added it to my background.  The background panel was die cut with the Altenew Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die.

The flower is from SnSS and is colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  I finished the card with a sentiment from the SnSS Colors of Fall Stamp Set.  A few SSS Moonshine Sequins add sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
