Getting Peachy

 Me Again!  

These large florals from Altenew have always been one of my favorites.  I tend to go red with them, but this time I tried a pale peach- and with the brown leaves, I love them!  

I colored the poppies with Copics and then fussy cut them out.  

I added brown foliage using the same stamp set (Wallpaper Art).  

I darkened the centers of the flowers with a black micron pen.  The sentiment is from Creative Worship Stamps.  A few light brown sequins finish the card.

Gratitude

 Hello Friends,

I needed a few Thank You cards so pulled out some botanicals and this sweet bird image:

The background panel was made using tone on tone stamping and then adding friendship words with white ink.  The bird and floral branch are both from a set from Creative Worship Stamps called Birds and Blooms.  The images were colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  

The images were grounded with a white, circle die cut and a scalloped border panel.  The sentiment, an oldie but goodie from WPlus9, is stamped in Versafine Clair ink in black.

CAS Whale

 Hello Friends!  

I hope everyone had a wonderful and patriotic 4th of July!  We had a bit of storm damage here with a huge tree limb going down, but once power was restored, it wasn't anything to lose sleep over.  

I was intrigued by the inspiration photo for this week's Inspired By Challenge.  I came up with this CAS card.  

Here is the inspiration photo~

The whale is a Lesia Zgharda design; sentiment is from Creative Worship Stamps.  I used some Altenew Brass Shimmer Relief Paste with a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs for the background.  A few white sequins finish the card.

Pink Trellis

 Hello All and Happy Fourth of July Week! 

With it still being furnace-like outside, I am once again inside crafting.  It has been quite some time since I participated in an Altenew Challenge, but since I just got some Altenew goodies, I wanted to play along.  

I was inspired by several parts of this picture.   Of course the pink flowers, but also the pale blue curtain and the Moroccan style white lattice.  I was also inspired by the brass items and embossed the 'thanks' in brass.

Fly Away

 Hello and Happy Summer!  

While I should be organizing my craft room, I am crafting in it instead.  It's good getting back into crafting and with the hot steamy weather, I 'd rather be inside.  

Today's card is a vintage birthday card for a boy.  I used this sweet old Penny Black image and colored it with Copics, then fussy cut him out.  

I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge~

I embossed the background panel with an old Spellbinders embossing folder.  The decorative background panel was die cut out with my Penny Black Classy Frames Die.  A couple of flag die cuts ground the image.  

The sentiment was pieced together with two sentiments, the first one being from PTI.  Other brand is unknown.
