Hello,
Sympathy cards are always hard to do. I try to have some made up in advance. A friend requested some as well, so I am trying to create a stash.
The IO Magnolia Slimline Stamp is still my go to and lives on my desk top, lol. I love the versatility of it. This is a one layer card, using a stencil, stamp and sentiment stamp.
The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped a mask as well, fussy cutting it out. With the mask applied, I sponged on some grey-brown ink.
Then the mask was removed and I colored the image with Copics. I used the color palette from Sunday Stamps~
The sentiment is from the With Sympathy Stamp Set from Avery Elle. The entire panel was die cut with Divinity Design's Pierced Rectangle Dies.
A few sequins were added for sparkle.
I am linking up to Simply Clean and Simple March Challenge and the March Stencil Fun Challenge as well as Inkspirational Challenges- clean and simple.
Thanks for stopping by!
Lee Ann
