Bouquet for Valentines

 Hi Friends!

With Christmas over, I am moving on to Valentines cards.  I used the Creative Worship Stamps Sketched Roses stamp set for this card.  

The flowers were colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  For the vase, I repurposed the cup sleeve in the I Like Big Cups Stamp Set and turned it into a vase for my floral arrangement.  The simple sentiment is from the Love Wordfetti Stamp Set .

Puppy Love

 Hello! 

I was inspired by the colors at Color Throwdown; they were perfect for a Valentine card.  I used this sweet pup from SnSS 's Valentine Critters Stamp set.  EDIT- This set is 40% off NOW!  I colored him with Copics and fussy cut him out.  

I used my Wacky Stitched Circle Dies to create a ring and used it to ground the pup.  I added I panel colored with distress ink.  

The background panel was stenciled using Tattered Rose, Saltwater Taffy and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxides.  As always, a few SSS Moonshine sequins finish the card.

A Little Love Bird

 Hello! 

We are back in the deep freeze as I suspect much of the country is.  The cold weather is always a good time to stay inside and craft.  I used one of my favorite Valentine images from Sweet n Sassy Stamps for this card~ EDIT- This set is 40% now! 

I love this little bird- there is something about his quirkiness... he is from the Valentine Critters Stamp Set.  I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it out.  I sponged Salty Ocean Distress Ink on the lower background panel and stamped the adorable paper airplanes on top using the Happy Mail Stamp Set.  

I adhered the image onto a 1 1/2" circle die from IO Stamps- these small circles are perfect for layering with small images.  The sentiment is from the Lots of Love Stamp Set.  A few of- you guessed it- SSS Moonshine sequins finish off the card.

Ramen Love

 Hello!  

Punny card, anyone?  I always love a good pun, and this one fits the bill.  It is from the Sweet n Sassy Stamps Punny Love Stamp Set.  

Isn't this the cutest?!  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copics.  It was then fussy cut out.

  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and die cut 3 circles, one of which I stamped the sentiment on with Versafine Black Ink.  The elements were adhered to the card; the middle circle and ramen bowl being popped up on scrap cardstock.  Sequins finish the card.

Valentines are for the Birds

 Yep, me again!  

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I pulled out some of my favorite Valentine critters.  This quirky bird is one of my favorites. 

 I was inspired by the sketch at MFT Sketch Challenge.  

This sweet bird is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps Valentine Critters Stamp Set.  He was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics, then fussy cut out.  

The panel down the left hand side is done with a stencil and ink, then spritzed with water using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer for a watercolor look.  There is a tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers that calls this technique Stencil Monoprint.  

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Gina K Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder.  I finished it off with a few enamel dots.
