Baby Love

Hello Everyone!

Today's card has a vintage flair to it.  These little birds spoke to me, so of course they hopped into my cart.  :)  I wanted to use them for a baby card and the sentiment, You Are So Loved was perfect.
Both stamps are from the Technique Junkies store and you can get a 10% discount on your order with
code TJ10LeeAnn.

I started with painting a watercolored background using distress ink (Picked Raspberry).  I die cut a circle from the panel.
The sentiment is stamped in grey and then embossed with clear ep.
The birds are stamped in Momento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copics, then fussy cut out.
The water colored panel is popped up on dimensional tape.  I added die cut clouds using a Sweet n Sassy Stamps die.
That's it for me; hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Kittie Love!

Hi Everyone!

I have a super easy and fun CAS card to share today.  I joined in the challenge over in the Technique Junkies Facebook Group.  If you enjoy techniques, you should give it a go!  And, if you place an order with Technique Junkies, use code TJ10LeeAnn to get 10% off!   This month's technique is 'Spattered Ombre'.

Well, you can see the spatter, but the ombre kind of got lost when I added the alcohol.  I think you can tell the bottom is darker than then top.  :)
I sponged Distress inks -Picked Raspberries and Seedless Preserves- onto my paper and then spattered alcohol everywhere.  I do like how the background turned out.  I used the adorable Kittie Duo Stamp from Technique Junkies once the background was dry.  The sentiment is from the Love You More Stamp Set and is fussy cut out.
Some washi tape and sequins finish it off.  I am linking up to Addicted to CAS- 'Ombre'.

Thanks for stopping by!

Girlfriend Fun

Hi Again!

Yep, a second post today, because I crafted with some girlfriends Friday night.  We keep things pretty simple when we get together.  This time around I taught them a way to use up scraps for a simple card with a big impact.
Please forgive the quality of the photos, I have been having a humdinger of a time getting good pics lately.
Sentiment is SugarPea Designs, numbers are Sweet n Sassy Stamps.
I am linking this card up to Watercooler Wednesdays, 'Masculine Anything Goes'.

Sentiment is Cas-ual Fridays, cars are SugarPea Designs.

Sentiment is Cas-ual Fridays, Flowers are Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

All simple, but we sure had fun!  Thanks for stopping by!

Wildflower Bouquet

Happy Sunday Everyone!
We are experiencing some warm weather here in St Louis and it is such a lovely reprieve from winter!  Been trying to get some of those 'outdoor' things done but had to squeeze in some time for coloring for Kathy Racoosin's coloring challenge, The Daily Marker 30 day.

I used a gorgeous Power Poppy image for this card and colored it with Copics.  The card is pretty straight forward, so I will spare you the details.  :)
The sketch I used is Freshly Made Sketches~

Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful week!

Shaving Cream is Not Just for Shaving

Hello and Happy Saturday Everyone!

We have finally had a break in the weather here in St Louis.  I hope you are enjoying some sunshine and pretty weather.  And to all my crafty friends soaking up the Arizona fun right now...Wish I was there!
I love craft nights with friends but you know how life gets in the way.  Some friends and I finally got together last night and did lots of fun things.

What is this, you ask?  Well we did the shaving cream technique last night and had lots of good clean fun!  I decided to try something different and let the beautiful color swirls peek through negative die space.  The background die is from Cas-ual Fridays and the 'hello' die is from WPlus9.
My die cut panel is popped up on dimensionals.
I used the sketch from Stick It Down to get me started~

I am also linking up to Shopping Our Stash, 'Getting Sentimental', and to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- 'Add a Sentiment'.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed weekend!

Purple

Hi All!

Purple.  NOT a color you see me use much.  Nor wear.  Nor have around my house.  But, the challenge at  Less is More this week is 'Purple'.  I had the perfect image for it that I was inspired to color by Kathy Racoosin.  She is hosting her famous 30 day coloring challenge and on day 1 she colored a beautiful floral.  So, I decided floral and purple.  And I like it!

Edit-Another photo, because the poor lighting continued to bug me.  :D

I used this gorgeous Altenew floral and colored it with Copics.  I sponged a background at the top to act as a border edge for the fussy cut floral panel.  The whole flower is brushed with clear Wink of Stella. I am linking up to Casology, where this week's challenge is 'Glimmer'.
That's it for me!  I think the photographing of the card took longer than the card, lol!  I don't know about you but I am looking forward to spring and summer light!  Dull, dark, winter days make for yucky pictures.
Thanks for stopping by!

Pugs and Kisses

Hi Everyone!

Time for another Technique Junkies new release card!  I have used the image, The Kiss, and the sentiment, from the Love You More stamp set.  You can get 10% off of these cuties when you use code TJ10LeeAnn.  If you find other things you just have to have, you can get 10% off as well- any stamps you choose.
So this card was done on watercolor paper~

Aren't they cute???

My MISTI helped me to add color in layers to this image.  I used Distress Inks- by masking the image in spots and inking up specific areas I was able to add color in layers.  Once I stamped the color, I moved it around with water to fill in the image.  I repeated this process 'til I reached the desired look. I love how it turned out!
What do you think?  I hope I have inspired you to give it a try!

Birthdays and Donuts

Hello All!

I was in need of new birthday stamps and this adorable new stamp, Birthdays and Donuts, from Technique Junkies fit the bill!  You can find this and the rest of the new release at Technique Junkies! Today is the last day to automatically get 15% off any of the new release stamps.  If you are interested in other TJ stamps, use code TJ10LeeAnn for a 10% discount

Fun, Fun, Fun!  The stamp comes as a singular image, but I fussy cut the donuts out so they fit my scalloped edge.  I masked the donuts off when I stamped the sentiment.

Super simple!

EDIT- Hoo boy, sorry all, I forgot to finish this post before it published.
Donuts are colored with Copics.

I am linking up to the Just Us Girls Challenge, Anything Goes, as well as Seize the Birthday Anything Goes.

This stamp, An Inside Job, really spoke to me.   I simply colored with Copics and added a doily, all in 'Valentine' colors.

I used the sketch C4C386 from Crazy4Challenges for the card, (changing a few things) ~

This next card uses the newest sentiment set, Love You More~

For a totally different look, I heat embossed this fabulous XOXO sentiment onto a diecut heart and made a simple collage style card.

Now hop over to Cheri Weston's blog for her amazing inspiration!

Thanks for hopping!
