Spring Bouquet

Hello Friends and Happy Resurrection Weekend!

I played in the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday and I was blessed to win a gift certificate to Top Flight Stamps.  Goodness, did I have fun looking through hundreds of stamps.  One of the stamp sets I selected was a Jane's Doodles Stamp Set from Creative Expressions.  I just love this bouquet!

The flowers are yellow and purple; the flowers were reading a blue and I had a hard time trying to edit them so they looked purple.

Anyway, the flowers are colored with Copics- I got my BVs and Vs out again- and fussy cut out.

I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge~

And the colors are from Color My Heart Color Challenge~

I cut the bouquet in half, and adhered it to the white background panel and that was adhered to the cardbase.

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply- the scripture stamps are simply divine!  I popped up the sentiment strip with strips of paper and adhered it between the floral halves.  I few SSS Moonshine Sequins (as usual) finish the card.

I am also linking up to Word Art Wednesday- Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed Easter!

Little One

 Hello Again!

My card making tends to revolve around my friend's needs so today's card is a baby card.

I pulled out this oldie but goodie WPlus 9 stamp set.  This giraffe makes for great baby cards.  He was colored with Copics and then fussy cut out.  It took me a bit to figure out what to do with him.  I had this background panel in my stash and thought it worked perfectly with the giraffe.

The background was made with modeling paste that I tinted brown and a Tim Holtz Burlap Stencil.

I used two circle dies from the IO Wacky Stitched Circles Die Set to create the white cs ring.  I used a piece of pinky orange cs from my scrap stash and added a scalloped edge with a SnSS die.

Sentiment is from SnSS.  A few sequins finish the card.

I am linking up to The Alphabet Challenge- Z is for Zoolology,  and Addicted to Stamps and More-Any Occasion.  I'm also linking up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- Anything Goes and the March 2024 Stencil Fun Challenge.

Thanks so much for visiting!

One Stamp, 4 Ways

 Hello Everybody!

Today I have another sympathy card and I am using what is probably a very familiar stamp by now.

This stamp, IO's Magnolia Slimline Stamp, has been out on my desk for days now.  The colors are from The Color Hues Challenge.

The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics.  I then cut away the excess cs to the right of the branch.

I embossed the cream panel and then added a bit of dimension using scrap cs behind the floral panel. The flower centers were colored with a gold metallic gelly roll pen.

The sentiment is a Stamp Simply stamp from the Words of Encouragement Stamp Set.  A few sequins add some sparkle.

I am also linking up to Triple B March Challenge.

Here are the other ways I have used this stamp~

Thanks for visiting!

When Life Gives You Lemons

Hello, Hello!

Yesterday was a fun day of crafting allllll day long with a friend as we are both on spring break.  It is always a good time!

I grabbed this great set from SnSS- I just love the font.

I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I colored my lemon and leaves with Copics and fussy cut them out. I made a background panel with one of my favorite background stamps, and oldie but goodie from IO Stamps, Gingham Cover a Card Background Stamp.

I made my panel for my lemon and sentiment and added a green strip of paper along the left hand side. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Claire Ink.  I adhered the images and added a few SSS Moonshine Sequins for sparkle.

I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog- Food or drink.

Also linking up to Double D Challenges- LOTS of green.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
