Mixing Things up on a Friday Night

Woo Hoo!  I am now officially on Spring Break!  I got a little extra time this afternoon to play, so I put together a card for my favorite SCS challenge, the Mix-Ability Challenge.  This week we are to glue torn paper on our cards and in some manner apply ink to it.  Here is my card-

I used Stampin' Up scraps in neutrals and added a splash of pink with paper from the Fan Fair dsp pack.  I adhered them to a white cs base with Mod Podge.  Once dried, I ran it through the Big Shot using my Vintage wallpaper ef.  Then I brayered white craft ink over the embossed panel.  I die cut a floral oval from Early Espresso cs, then stamped a Verve sentiment in Early Espresso and  cut that in an oval. I sponged the edges of the sentiment oval with pink ink before removing it from the oval die.  My flourish is cut from River Rock cs.  I used the small and medium Regal Rose dies from MFT and the Itty Bitty Punch Pack from SU to make the flowers.  Flower centers were made with Perfect Pearls.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed weekend!

Lee Ann :)
