A great sketch is coming your way this week at SugarPea Designs SugarSketch! It is that time of year when proms, graduations and the like are happening. I have a niece graduating from high school. With a little help from google, I found her school colors and made her this card using the 'The Key to My Heart Stamp Set'.
Here is your sketch~
I started with coloring my key with Copics and cutting it out. The Cherry Cobbler panel was masked and sponged; then I used gold embossing paste with a stencil. The gold paste wants to photograph a copper color, but it does have more gold in it. Spritzed some Calico White color spray and added my new go-to, cheese cloth, for texture.
And the team, with more fabulous inspiration!

That key looks 3-D - amazing job, Lee Ann!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever card! I really love how you made the key a focal point and gave it such a great background! I also like how you incorporated the gold and leaf elements. The whole thing came together and I think a key is the perfect symbol for a graduation celebration. You did a wonderful job and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love how you coloured the key! And the touches of gold - wow!
