Nesting Dolls and More

 Hellooooo!  

Have you checked out the latest Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders?  I could not wait to share this kit with you.  What adorable stuff.  If you are a fan of  the Russian nesting dolls, you are going to loooove the stamp set in this month's kit! 

These sweet dolls were stamped onto white cs and colored with Copics.  I chose colors that would coordinate with this gorgeous floral paper in the paper pad in the kit.  

The images were fussy cut out.  They were grounded with a fun inlaid die panel made with the floral paper from the kit and the dies from the Geometrical Floral Frames June 2020 Large Die of the Month.  The sentiment was stamped in Versamark Onyx Black Ink using my MISTI.  

The background panel was adhered to a card front and the 'dolls' were added, slightly popped up with bits of scrap cs. To finish it off, I added a bitty gold heart (part of the kit) to the center of the dolls.  

And you cannot have a Card Kit of the Month without dies!  Check out this adorable phone die with all of the details!  

The diecut bits of gold cs have a bit of texture to them as I ran the cs through an embossing folder before die cutting.  I used a floral die cut shape and fussy cut around the image, adding it to the phone receiver to add a feminine touch to the phone.  

And then there are all of the die cuts.  In this kit you not only have die cut shapes, you have chipboard frames.  I used a variety of pieces along with a piece of patterned paper for this card.  Quick and simple! 

The result is a collage style card using 6 die cut shapes, including a chipboard frame.  The only stamped image on the card is the sentiment from the stamp set in the kit.  I think this is super sweet for a young girl.  

In this month's kit, you get the amazing stamp set, die set, adhesive, foam adhesive, chipboard frames, die cut pieces, card bases, envelopes, a pad of patterned paper, 9 pieces of cs including the gold mirror cs, 2 large sticker sheets and a sheet of puffy gold sentiment stickers.  That is a super value for the club price!  This particular kit would also be fantastic for scrapbooking.
