Hello. Hello!
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
I love Spellbinders Monthly Card Kits. November's kit did not arrive on time due to shipping delays, but it is FINALLY here!
Because it has arrived so late in the month, The Joyful Christmas Card Kit will not be a part of the monthly club, but will be sold ala carte! Here are some of my cards with this fabulous kit~
I just love this adorable image! It is part of the sweetest stamp set that is a part of this kit. CAS was the way to go for this sweet critter. The words, Twinkle and all the way, were heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The mouse was colored with Copics and fussy cut out. I popped her up over the 'i' in twinkle. I added a curly q die in white for a little interest along with a few sequins. The panel was mounted on pink cs.
A card front panel was added to the card base; it was die cut with the fabulous new Fluted Classics Rectangles Dies. These are my new favorite nested dies.
Next up, I used the fabulous new poinsettia die that is part of the kit.
I die cut my poinsettia in white and highlighted the leaves with a bit of light green. I added three dark green leaves to it as well. The foliage dies worked great for filler in my floral spray. The background was done with Christmas tree paper from the festive paper pack included in the kit along with the Spellbinders Geometrical Florals Dies. I used the inlaid die technique for this. To finish the card, I added some gold dots I made with the dies and added a puffy sentiment sticker which is also part of the kit.
I guess I had white poinsettias on the brain when I was working with this kit. I made another spray using the poinsettia, holly leaf and evergreen sprigs. The background is done with a sheet of watercolor paper and Ken Oliver Colorbursts. I sprinkled red watercolor powder on the water color paper and then spritzed with water and moved the color around with a brush. Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with the largest die and a medium die from the Fluted Classics Dies. The smaller panel was popped up on fun foam. The floral spray was added. Lastly, the sentiment was heat embossed with white ep on vellum and adhered to the card. A few sequins finish it off!
You can check out the new kit HERE. You won't believe all of the product you get with the kit!
Thanks for stopping by!
Lee Ann
