Halloween with Impression Obsession New Release!

 Hello Again!

We are back for Day 2 of the Impression Obsession September New Release Blog Hop!   If you have come from Laura Williams's blog, you are in the right spot.  If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog to start the hop.

Each day of the hop (September 6th and 7th) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog.  We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates to the IO store.  The more you comment (one comment per post per day), the greater your chances of winning!

All comments for each of the hop days will be open until Monday, September 13 at 11:59pm.  All winners will be announced on Tuesday, September 14th on the IO blog.

Does the song, 'Monster Mash' come to mind here??  Sorry if it is stuck in your head now!  These  Monsters are the cutest!  The come with a coordinating Monster Dies Set.

They are a solid stamped image.  Because I like dimension, I used the rock and roll technique when stamping the monsters.  I really love how they turned out.  They were die cut out with the Monster Dies and then eyeballs were added using Googly Eyes.
I water colored a background using Ken Oliver Colorbursts.  The sentiment was stamped with IO Black Ink using my MISTI.  The background was die cut out with the Crazy Stitched Rectangle Die.

Next up, this happy spider!  This is the new Hang in There Stamp.  The image was stamped on a scrap of patterned paper, then stamped again on white cs.  The spider on the cs was colored with Copics and fussy cut out and glued to the image on the patterned paper.
The patterned paper image was fussy cut out and mounted onto a piece of black cs.  I created 4 perfect black cs strips by using the IO Rounded Corner Sentiment 2 Dies.  I used the longest die to die cut 4 black strips, adhered them to the white card base and then trimmed off the ends overhanging the card.  The image panel was adhered and a few sequins were added to finish the card. I also used a white gel pen to color in the tiny circles in the background of the image.
