In the Beginning

 Hello and Happy Fall!  

Do you have fall weather- finally?  We do, and I am loving it.  I had to 'fallify' some notes I have been taking.  

I have been taking classes online with The Bible Project.  They. Are. Outstanding.  I have been through the introduction to the Hebrew Bible earlier this year, but I am now repeating it and taking notes.  It has given me such a love for Israel and for the Torah, Prophets and writings.  

Once again, I used one of the printables from the Facebook group, Bible Journaling Tips and Tricks.  I chose the colors I wanted to work with- I used I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and then stenciled over the with the Tim Holtz Stencil, Burlap, using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  The title was stamped using letters from the Mini Bold Print Alpha Stamp Set from SnSS and the word 'the' from the I Am Stamp Set.  The ink is Memento Rich Cocoa.  

I penciled in my words and then wrote everything with my Kuretake Zig Pens.  To dress things up, I used some leaves from the Colors of Fall Stamp Set that I had laying on my desk and I used the Coneflower from the same set. I stamped it on heavy printer paper, colored with Copics and fussy cut it out.  I added a free hand cut arrow, highlighted important parts of the notes and called it done.  

It truly blows my mind how much I miss when I sit down and read scripture- seems like just about everything!
