Little One

 Hello Again!

My card making tends to revolve around my friend's needs so today's card is a baby card.

I pulled out this oldie but goodie WPlus 9 stamp set.  This giraffe makes for great baby cards.  He was colored with Copics and then fussy cut out.  It took me a bit to figure out what to do with him.  I had this background panel in my stash and thought it worked perfectly with the giraffe.

The background was made with modeling paste that I tinted brown and a Tim Holtz Burlap Stencil.

I used two circle dies from the IO Wacky Stitched Circles Die Set to create the white cs ring.  I used a piece of pinky orange cs from my scrap stash and added a scalloped edge with a SnSS die.

Sentiment is from SnSS.  A few sequins finish the card.

I am linking up to The Alphabet Challenge- Z is for Zoolology,  and Addicted to Stamps and More-Any Occasion.  I'm also linking up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- Anything Goes and the March 2024 Stencil Fun Challenge.

Thanks so much for visiting!

  4. What a wonderful baby card, and you're totally right - the little giraffe couldn't be more perfect for a creation like this. Such a great motif, especially when it comes with a circular frame and a bold orange/red background strip. The stencil background is a perfect match for your image, and so are those little sequins. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.
