And yes, once again I have strayed some from the original sketch. But hey, its for the children, right?! LOL.
As you can see, I have rotated the sketch. The stamp is a new one that I inked up for the first time from Sweet N Sassy stamps. I paper pieced this space ship. The card base is SU Night of Navy and the moon is Barely Banana embossed with a cuttlebug e.f. The card edge was cut with the new edgelits and embossed with the new matching embosslits from SU.
The only thing I wish I could change on this card is the sentiment- I really wish I had one that said "You are out of this world!"
Thanks for stopping by!
Lee Ann, this card is a winner! Some child is going to get this and absolutely love it!
ReplyDeleteLee Ann, this card is Out Of This World. Someone's child is going to be so very happy to receive this one. All around wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I think I am going to put it on my CASE list! TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Lee Ann,
ReplyDeleteI adore this card! Your color choices, textures, and layout have created a card that a little one will love getting! I absolutely know what you mean about looking at those little faces and realizing how few cards I've sent to OWH for kids.
I also know what you mean about not having just the right stamp. I've taken to printing sentiments with our home computer printer and have had quite a bit of luck.
Thanks for sharing -- and thanks for participating in this week's sketch challenge!
Oh I love this card! So cute for a little one, but so many beautiful details. That edgelit is going on my wish list!
ReplyDeleteI adore this card!! I'm going to CASE it, I love everything about it! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
