Greater Than

 Hello and Happy Weekend All!

Bible journaling ideas do not often come to me- I tend to copy others.  But yesterday, this idea popped into my head and I had to get it on a page.

  I was inspired by a color combination in the Bible Journaling Tips and Tricks FB group.  

Do you have trouble remembering the 'greater than' and 'less than' signs??  They always gave me trouble, lol.  I read the John 3:30 verse and that gave me the idea of journaling with the greater than sign.  I don't know about you, but I could sure use a LOT less of me.  I am so grateful that He is greater.  

I used Distress Oxide Inks in Fossilized Amber and Broken China and a bit of Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink and sponged on the background.  

My new favorite flower.  I love these flowers from the My Savior's Love Stamp Set.  I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out.  

I added texture to the background with the Texture Tiles 1 Stamp set.  Then I added dimension by drawing math symbols on the page.  I used my Pigma Micron Pen to do this.  I made a 'greater than' sign and then determined placement for everything.  

Once I knew were everything was going, I stamped my title- 'Do' and 'Math' were stamped in Versafine Black Ink using the SnSS School Days Alpha.  'The' and 'Jesus' are from the My Savior's Love Set.  'Me' is from a new to me set which I love-the letters are not too big and are perfect for journaling in the margin- the set is Mini Bold Alpha.  I just love the size.  Have I said how much I love the size?!

Once the background and lettering were done, I adhered the flowers and greater than sign to the page.  Lastly, I wrote the verse out and highlighted the verse on the page.  

One last thing- did you notice the '3=1'?  Can you guess what that is referring to?  

And remember, All, He is GREATER.
