Hello!
I did a bit of Bible journaling over the weekend. I played along with the Bible Tips and Tricks group on fb.
Love one another. Imagine if we all did this all of the time?! How different our world would be.
I stamped my butterfly from the SnSS Begin Again Stamp Set, colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out.
I did some ink smooshing on the page in yellow, green and a couple of shades of turquoise (or teal- I can never keep them straight). Once that was dry (used a heat gun) I used a circle stencil and Peacock Feathers Distress ink on top of the smooshed ink. I added texture with a stamp from the Texture Tiles 1 Stamp Set and some Memento Black Ink. Then the lettering- I really need some practice with this, lol! I used the School Days Alpha for the word 'one' and the Rebecca Script Alpha for 'love' and 'another'. The letters were all stamped in Versafine Black Ink.
Once the ink was dry I tried to highlight the letters with a white paint pen. In the white areas of the letters, I then added tiny green dots with a paint pen.
I wrote scripture verses Romans 12:10 and John 13:25 using a Pigma Micron Pen. Lastly, I added the stamped images of the leaves from the stamp set, My Savior's Love. AND, I broke down and bought a set of Bible highlighters in great colors; I used that to highlight the verse, Roman's 12:10.
Thank you for stopping by!
