It was hard to pick a set to share, so I have selected two to share with you.
If you are into critters, this Fur-Ever Friends Stamp Set is hands down the cutest critter set going!
I used the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for the sketch! Narelle is this week's sketch designer and she did not disappoint!
So, pretty clear I did not use any critters on this card! All of the foliage and the simply adorable shrooms can take centerstage in their own right! This week's FMS sketch was perfect!
I colored the images with Copics and fussy cut them out. Worked a bit to arrange them on the card front and added a few sequins. Super easy!
Next up, I actually did use the critters on this project!
They are the cutest! This time I water colored them, using Arches water color paper and Daniel Smith Water colors.
I fussy cut the critters and then painted a background for them on the Arches paper, going for a tone on tone look. To add a bit more texture and distinction to the background, I stamped the Falling Leaves Stamp in white ink behind each critter.
I used a fine Micron pen in black to color in the eyes and noses.
Next up, the fun Christmas set, Deck the Halls.
I love stringing popcorn and cranberries so this set was right up my alley! I kept things simple by stamping the image twice and coloring with Copics. I did some minor masking for this. Added the sentiment, some Wink of Stella and sequins and framed it with a scalloped rectangle. I am linking this card up to the CAS challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.
Did you know that besides this great release, it is Sweet Sentimental September at Sweet n Sassy Stamps? That means That sentiment sets are on sale! Check out the Sweet and Sentimental category HERE.
If you are still with me, thank you! I know this was a long post!
Time to continue on the blog hop!

ReplyDeleteHey sweet lady, these are amazing. You already know I loved the rainbow baby one with those adorable furever friends. I love the CAS design on your first card. You know I struggle so much with that style. Great job showcasing these sets. I will be down in your neck of the wood the week of Oct 30. Maybe we can get together to play. Blessings.
