Critters x Two!

Hi All!

I am sneaking in under the wire for Darnell's Twofer Challenge.  This month it is 'Critters' and I have the perfect critters set to use!

I adore this Fur-ever Friends set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.   Baby and Christmas.  Two perfect occasions to use this stamp.

First up, the Christmas version.  Everything is colored with Copics.  I stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut out the tree rings image from the Wood Backgrounds stamp set.   Then for the wreath effect, I fussy cut out multiple of the berry images found in the Fur-ever friends set.  The sentiment, which I love, is from the Born This Day Stamp Set.
I'm linking this Christmas card up to Always Fun Challenge- 'Cute Critters'.

Next up, a narrow, tall card.

I used the sketch at The Paper Players and the colors from Just Us Girls.
The stamps are the same, from the Fur-ever Friends set.  The circles are die cut with some SSS Stitched Circle Dies.  The word 'baby' is from Sugarpea Designs.
My card is 3.5 x 8.5 inches.  Just like Claire Broadwater's over on the Paper Players blog, lol!  I think she came up with a great challenge!
I added a bit of detail with 3 sequins and then a clear seed bead in the center of each.

That's it for me!  Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed week!

  1. Oh, Lee Ann, these cards are so sweet! Fawns do make the most adorable baby cards. I love the tall and skinny sketch. And for Christmas... with the wreath and the tree rings... wow! My heart is stolen! Thanks so much for joining us at Twofer!

  3. Here I go shopping again! I think that is the sweetest little fawn I've ever seen in a stamp, Lee Ann! Good choice for your two different designs, both equally adorable! I loved reading and following the process you went through designing both cards. The subtlety of that white tree ring behind the wreath is fabulous and I love how you meticulously arranged the wreath! And I love how you used the same wreath elements as a subtle background on your tall new baby card, the panel of gingham, and how you mimicked the spots in your circle background! (Who didn't use gingham in the nursery back in the day?!) Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #20! Hugs, Darnell
