Box of Balloons with Impression Obsession

 Hello Hello! Welcome to our blog hop showcasing die cuts!

So, I am hooked on this Cardboard Box Die! I colored it as if it was wrapped in wrapping paper and added black polka dots with the Small Dots Cover a Card Stamp.  You can put just about anything in it!  I put a cat in it HERE.  

This time I made a birthday card, with a bunch of balloons loosing from the box, using the Party Balloons Dies and Sm. Balloon Strings Dies.    

The background was repeatedly stamped with a Celebrate sentiment.  I finished the card off with some Moonshine sequins.

Going Batty

 Hello!  

Welcome to Impression Obsession's Theme Day Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is 'Silhouettes'.  Today's participants can be found on the Impression Obsession Blog. 

I went super simple but super cute with the new Halloween Shapes Dies.  I did black on black with my background and the bats, but to make the bats stand out, they are covered with Glossy Accents.  The die cuts are also inlaid.  The sentiment, Happy Halloween, was die cut from white cs that had been colored in an ombre fashion with Copic markers.  It too is inlaid .  A few black sequins finish the card!

Vintage Christmas

 Merry Christmas!  

Well, it IS less than 100 days away! 

 The newest stamps from Spellbinders are these wonderful Vintage Holidays images.  I adore vintage Christmas.  These images remind me of the movie classic, It's A Wonderful Life.  

She looks like she is right out of a Christmas movie!  She is colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  I used a circle medallion from the die set, Circle Kaleidoscope Slimline Dies and adhered her to it.  a piece of deep red cs grounds the image and die.  Merry Christmas is stamped in the corner with Versafine Onyx black Ink. A few sequins finish the card.  

I am linking this vintage gal up to Inkspirational, for their retro challenge. 

This couple is loaded down with presents in their old Model T! 

I used the small snowflake images to stamp a background.  the car image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on another panel and colored with Copics.  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink using the MISTI.  Glossy accents cover the Christmas tree lights and the head lights of the car.  

It's a Wonderful Stamp Set!

The Feline is My IO Favorite!

 Hello!

I know there are a lot of cat mamas out there!  I am personally a dog lover, but have had my share of cats, including black ones. 

 This is such a fun set; it is called Black Cat Love!  This particular cat was perfect to be playing inside the Cardboard Box.  And knowing how cats like string, I thought some twine would be a great touch for this mischievous cat.  

The shadows on the box were added with Copics.  My background panel was done with Tim Holtz's Flourish Stencil and gold embossing paste.  

Sentiment is from The Skinny Stamp Set.  A few SSS Moonshine sequins finish the card.

Fall Flowers

 Hello Everyone!

It has been a tiring and difficult first 3 weeks of work this year.  I needed a bit of R and R this weekend.  And flowers.  I needed flowers. 

Choosing a color palette is sometimes the most difficult part of card making for me.  I started out wanting a peachy pink bloom.  I used the Fairy Rose Image from IO Stamps.  I added Eucalyptus Branch 2 for filler as well as Silhouette 7 for the background.  

Sentiment is One Moment.  

Background texture was added with the fabulous Diamond Star Embossing Folder from Altenew. 

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
