Winter Scene

 Hello Everyone!

I am trying to get back into the swing of stamping and blogging.  Today I have a wintry scene to share with you.

I used the new Fir Trees Slimline Stamp for the background.  Using my MISTI, I was able to apply different shades of greens to give the trees dimension.  I added the snowy hill with Copics.  Those bears!  I just love them!  The animals in the Mini Woodland Animals Stamp Set are beautiful.

The sentiment is aptly named 'Peace'.  A few sequins for some sparkle finish the card!

I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, 'anything goes'.

Also linking up to Addicted to Stamps and More, 'Christmas'.

Thanks for stopping by!

Die Cut Day with Impression Obsession

 Welcome Back, All!

It is die cut day at Impression Obsession.    Have fun checking out what the design team has to share with you today.  You can find links to all of the participants on the Impression Obsession Blog.

Isn't he the cutest???  Especially with a red nose.  I had to use Standing Deer again; aren't the little white spots adorable?! I die cut him from brown cs and added shadows with Copics.  I kept the card simple and placed him on top of the senitment, which is from the Deer Sayings Stamp Set.
The sentiment was die cut out with the Rounded Corners Sentiments 2 Dies.
Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's projects on the IO Blog.

Thanks for stopping by,

Impression Obsession Team Faves

 Hello!

Today we are sharing our FAVORITE projects using the October IO Release. If you have come from Laura Williams's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, head over to the Impression Obsession blog to start the hop!

We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession grab bags; the more designers' blogs you comment on (1 comment per blog post), the greater your chances of winning! Comment will be open until Monday, October 26th at 11:59 pm.  Winners will be announced on the IO blog on Tuesday, October 27th.

My two favorite products from October's release are the dies, Jolly and Standing Deer.  Together, they are adorable!  I simply replaced the 'o' in jolly with the deer head and colored all with Copics.  The word Jolly was done in an ombre effect. The sentiment is done with the Country Christmas Says Stamp Set.  Easy Peasy!

You can find all of the October New Release goodies HERE

Vicki is next on the hop.  Enjoy!

Crafting Christmas with Impression Obsession

 Hello, Hello!

Today it is all about Christmas at Impression Obsession.  We are hopping, sharing Christmas themed projects.  Head over to the IO Blog for a list of participants.

These skating bears from the set Cool Yule just had to be in my stash! They are just the cutest!

I stamped the bears with IO Black Ink, colored them with Copics and fussy cut them out.  I gave them a pond to skate on, using silver mirrored cs.  Snow banks were added, using the Hillside Landscape Dies.  purple mountains were added using the Snow Capped Mountain Dies.  I gave the bears a pink distress ink blended sky, then popped up the mountains using bits of scrap cs.  Trees were colored and fussy cut.

The sentiment was stamped with IO Black Ink and the card was assembled.  I added some sequins ad splatters of white acrylic paint to finish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lee Ann

Sweet, Starry Kit

 Hello Everyone,

It feels good to be blogging.  I have been so busy at work-COVID busy.  I have no desire to do anything when I get home.  But. I am really hoping that the desire to craft comes back full force.

In the meantime, I craft when the mood strikes and hope for the best, lol!  Today I am sharing cards I made with this month's Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders.  This kit pushed me out of my comfort zone with colors I do not often use, and I loved it!

First up, the stamp set.  Such a cool set and I thought it was perfect for heat embossing.

I stamped the image using my MISTI with Versamark on black cs and then heat embossed with gold embossing power.  Then I stamped the hands again, using my MISTI, this time on white cs with InkOn 3's Fade Out No Line Ink.  The hands were colored with Copics; then I put the image panel back in the MISTI and heat embossed the hands with gold embossing powder and fussy cut them out.  I then glued then on over the original hands that were heat embossed on the black cs.

I used the star dies from the kit to die cut stars from the gold mirrored cardstock and adhered them to the panel, popping some of them up on the dimensional tape included in the kit. The panel was matted with white cs and adhered to a black card base.

Next up, a birthday card in PASTELS.  Yeah, I never use pastels, but I love how this turned out.  I started with the dies, die cutting a frame from white cs and vellum.  I then backed the frame with some patterned paper.

A strip of periwinkle patterned paper was added to a white card base and the added a bit of gold cs along the edge.  The frame was popped up and adhered to a piece of  craft foam to give it dimension and then adhered to the card base.  The sentiment is from a gorgeous sheet of gold mirrored puffy stickers.  A gold cardstock heart was added.

Lastly, a sweet baby card.

I started with the pink cs and stamped it with stars in Versamark ink.  I matted this panel with navy cs and adhered the panel to a white card base. I played around with the included die cuts in the kit until I liked the arrangement and adhered them.  I added a couple of stars die cut from the gold mirrored paper.  Irridescent sequins finish off the card!

So, the question is, is this a good value?  You bet it is!  If you like everything to match without having to think about it, this kit club is for you.

This kit comes with~

a set of dies
a stamp set
cs die cuts
10 card bases and envies
adhesive roll
dimensional tape
sequins
9 pieces of card stock
1 pad of patterned paper
1 sheet of puffy stickers
And more...

You will not be disappointed- check out the card kit club

Thanks for stopping by!
