Christmas is for the Littles

 Hello Friends, 

Today's card is for that sweet boy in your life; after all Christmas is most fun when seen through the eyes of a child.  

I used the adorable new Holiday Express Dies from Spellbinders.  They are adorable for a Christmas card but would also be perfect for a new baby card.  

I die cut all of the pieces in an assortment of red, black, kraft, green and gold cs.  They were all pieced together using Gina K Connect Glue.  The background was done with a stencil from Stamplorations and Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.  The sentiment, from the Handmade Gift Tags Stamp Set was stamped with Versafine Black Ink.  

A twine bow on a package and an acrylic gem finish off the card.

Christmas in Pink

 Hello All!  

I hope you have been having a wonderful summer.  Mine has definitely not what I thought it would be and it is hard to believe that we are going back to school in a week.  

Spellbinders has released their Christmas goodies and I have been having fun playing with them.  

I knew I wanted to play with the new Tinsel Time Sentiment Dies.  It has the word dies along with the outline dies.  For this card, I chose to die cut the word from the negative space and back the negative space word with pink cs.  

For the card base I adhered pink patterned paper and then framed it with a die from the Fluted Classic Rectangle Dies.  With Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I stamped the snowman and the Christmas Tree from the new Handmade Gift Tags Clear Stamp Set.  The images were colored with Copics and fussy cut out.  They were mounted on a circle die which was die cut with the Hemstitched Circle Dies, then framed with a die from the Sky View Pies Die.  

The Sky View Pies Die frame die cut and the sentiment die cuts were popped up on dimensional tape.  A few sequins were added for some sparkle.
