Hi Everyone and Happy Hump Day!
All good things must eventually come to an end and after much
consideration Monica Weaver from Add a Little Dazzle has decided to
close the Dazzling Diva Challenge. The blog and boutique will continue
being open offering unique creations and Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal
Sheets. I invite you to continue following the Add a Little Dazzle
blog.
It is time for our final challenge at Add a Little Dazzle; we have a theme of 'Spring' for this, our last Dazzling Divas Challenge.
When I think spring, I think of getting out side and going for walks. I usually start out strong and take the dog for walks too. Sadly, this does not last for long. One of these days, I keep telling myself, one of these days!
I decided to use my poodle die from the Top Dog Dies Dog Days #2 Die Set and go with a Parisian theme and 'go for a walk'. I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of yellow, black and white. I used some Black Diamond Add a Little Craft Metal for the poodle die. To give it dimension and texture, I used the paper stumps from the Embossing Tool Kit.
The frame is cut with a die from Heartfelt Creations. Background stamps are Crafty Secrets.
I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday Challenge- 'Yellow'.
I hope you can join us this week and have one last chance to win a gift certificate for Add a Little Dazzle! You can link up your project on the blog, and you can purchase Add a Little Craft Metal HERE, in the store.
Have a blessed week!
Lee Ann :)

Getting Dotty with The Challenge!
Hi Everyone!
It is Monday and time for a new challenge at The Challenge. We are offering up some fun this week with polka dots!
I couldn't get the thought of using one of my Prima Dolls for this challenge out of my mind, so I paper pieced some yellow polka dot dp for the skirt. As I have a thing for yellow, black and white, I went with the color challenge at the Color Throwdown this week~
I used the sketch at Stamplorations~
My circle cut out is lined with dotted vellum from PTI. I added some sparkle with sequins from Simon Says Stamp and Wink of Stella added along the skirt ruffle. I also added score lines down the right hand side of the card, but they are not showing up in the photo.
Hope you hop over to The Challenge and see all of the fab inspiration from the rest of the talented Design Team! Then link up your own work of art!

Black and White with Kraftin' Kimmie!
Good Morning and Happy Weekend Everyone!
Sorry to be MIA for a bit. My mother has taken ill and I flew out to Florida last Friday to be with her and my Dad. I wish I could say she is better, but unfortunately, she is still in the hospital and does not have a diagnosis yet. Thankfully, my brother was able to fly down and he is with them now.
I had just about finished this fun card using my new to me Kraftin' Kimmie set, Dishin' the Dirt, before leaving for Florida last Friday.
I finished it up last night for the Saturday Challenge, 'Black and White'~
Instead of using my Copics, I got my Prismacolor Pencils out for the adorable image. I was initially going to go all black and white, but then I decided I wanted a hint of pink to her cheeks, which led to some matting using my highly coveted stash of Blush Blossom cardstock.
The sentiment is heat embossed with white ep. I used a Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Scalloped Border Die, MFT Fishtail Flag Stax Die and 'CAS'ual Friday Casual Vine Fri-Die to dress up the card.
Hope you can play along!

Krafty Saturday!
Good Morning!
Hope you are going to get krafty this weekend! There is a brand new Saturday Challenge up at Kraftin' Kimmie and this week it is all about twine!
So this turned out to be a happy accident! I wanted to play with stencils and practice layering them, as is done in mixed media. The background was sponged, then I outlined the tree branch/bird image and watercolored it very loosely, using my Derwent watercolor pencils.
It really did not turn out as intended, but I realized that the scene I ended up with perfectly complimented this sweet image from Best Fur-iends that I had already colored up. I fussy cut the image out, drew a black line around the background and added a couple of mats. Lastly, I added some of my most favorite Hempitque twine.
Come join us for some Krafty fun and if you link up your creation, you are in the running for a Krafty prize!
I am linking this up to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- 'Your Own Background'
Have a wondeful and Krafty weekend!

Its Time for the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge!
Hi Everyone!
I am back with some more coloring using a super sweet image from Kraftin' Kimmie.
See? Cute as can be! This is from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set.
So, I colored this up for the Wonderful Wednesday Challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie; as usual it is 'Anything Goes'.
I have also used the April Kraftin' Kimmie Sketch~
I used a variety of papers, PTI vellum, SU dp, Echo Park dp, Soft Sky cs, Neenah Cryogen white cs and some Flourishes white cs from my stash that I am using very sparingly.
I added lots of sparkle- Wink of Stella on the dress, wand, and hair, clear glitter on the wings, clear glitter on the edges of the narrow panel, flourish, leaves, and flower. There is also Tattered Angels Gold Shimmer Mist on the flower.
I am linking up to the following challenges~

Time for some Colors at The Challenge!
Hi Everyone!
Boy, one week goes by awfully fast! It is time for a new challenge at The Challenge! Thanks to all of you who tried our sketch last week. We had so many gorgeous entries! This week we have a color challenge for you~
I LOVE these colors!
I pulled out an oldie but goodie MFT stamp, colored her up and fussy cut her out. I was in need of a sketch, and as luck would have it, the sketch at MFT challenges this week was just perfect!
I am also linking up to the challenge at Virginia's View- Layers and Dimension.
I used a stitched mat from one of my Blue Prints Die-Namics and stamped it with a SU background stamp, Hardwood. Then layered up a stitched circle, some Hemptique twine, a star die cut, followed by the image. I finished up with a heat embossed sentiment on vellum, die cut with another die from the Blue Prints Die-Namic.
Check out all of the gorgeous inspiration from our guestie and the rest of the team!

Day 4 of April Kraftin' Kimmie Sneak Peeks!
Hi Everyone!
Today is our last day of peeks for the April Release. You are going to love this sassy set! All of the brand new rubber stamp sets will be released TONIGHT in the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Store!
Fun, right?? We are SO thrilled to share this fabulous set of SASSY LADIES by artist Emilie Goulet! This fun set includes THREE main images plus TWELVE coordinating sassy sentiments!!
I know you have all been there. You have your idea, and every step in the crafting process has an Oops! This card was one oops after another, until I started assembling. The final oops resulted in me coloring this sassy lady all over again! But I persevered and am happy with the final product! After coloring with Copics, I fussy cut her out. Crystal Effects was added to the wine glass and to the belt; I wanted a black patent leather belt. :) The sentiment was stamped and then cut out with a speech bubble die. I used a stitched rectangle die for the mat, bow die and fish tail flag die, and then finished it off with a few sequins.
I used the fabby sketch from Freshly Made Sketches~

Day 2 Sneak Peeks for the April Kraftin' Kimmie Release!
Hi Everyone, and Welcome to Day 2 of some peeks at another Kraftin' Kimmie release!
Today we are previewing the new set by artist, Annie Rodrigue and it's called LIFE IS A MASQUERADE!!

After coloring my gal in with Copics, I decided to try a background technique with Copics. To be honest, I kind of made it up as I went along! :) I die cut the image with a SU framelit (Apothecary) and embellished it with a vine die cut cut from Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal. The edges of my white panels are embossed in gold.
Below you will find all the Krafty Girls and Guests who have goodies to show you today and while you're visiting their blogs, be sure to leave some love at each stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN some $$ to spend at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!! Woohoo!!!

We've Got a Sketch at The Challenge!
Good Morning and Happy Monday to You!
In case you missed it last week, big changes are happening over at The Challenge. We have gone to a weekly format and are mixing up the challenges- sketch, color, inspiration...you get the idea! This week we have a sketch challenge for you~
So here you go; as you can see, I tweaked the sketch a bit to fit the idea in my head!
My poppy stamp is from Gina K. Designs and is colored with Copics. I have been experimenting with background techniques lately, and using a background stamp, I colored it with a Copics, spritzed it with alcohol and stamped it around my masked image. As luck would have it, there was some residual ink on the stamp from the previous use, and that sort of showed up. However, I kind of liked the look so went with it. I dabbed a bit more Copic color on using a paint brush and alcohol to give it a more mottled look and to make the colors more vibrant.
The white panel is embossed and has a bit of color added to the raised areas, with a Copic. I used some Carta Bella dp, Simon Says Stamp sequins, ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, a die cut made with SB Leaves dies and finished off with a couple of small pearls placed in the center of the larger sequins.
I am linking up to Mod Squad Challenge- Tick Tack Toe; I used coloring, die cut and embossing as well as pearls, dimension and patterned paper.
613 Avenue Create is 'Anything Goes' this week.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge- A is for... Alcohol and alcohol ink.
The Card Concept has this wonderful inspiration- you can see where I got mine from ;) ~
Check out what the rest of the team has for you~

This month, the featured guest designer is the talented Lea Lawson!

Light It Up Blue!
Good Morning!
Today is an extra special day as it is the start of the Light It Up Blue for Autism Awareness Blog
Hop. This hop was lovingly put together by Tenia Nelson and Veronica Zalis.
We have so many fantastic sponsors that have shown their support for Autism Awareness and you can see the complete list here: http://lk2thestarz.blogspot.com/…/the-light-it-up-blue-for-…. If you would like a chance to win a prize from one of these fabulous companies leave a comment on this blog, and any of the other blogs participating in today's hop! Winners will be chosen at random and will be announced on Monday April 6.
This hop is near and dear to my heart as I have a son with Asperger's Syndrome, which, for those of you who do not know, is on the autism spectrum.
Now here is the card I created in honor of him for today's hop! ~
I used a sketch from Viva la Verve,
And Verve Stamps, Bloom and Grow and Learning to Sail. There are a couple of suns in the Learning to Sail set and I turned them into flowers by using the masking technique and drawing in stems and leaves. I colored my flowers with Copics.
The leaves are clear enbossed and die cut with the coordinating die. A bit of washi anchors the flowers, leaves and button.
The sentiment is one that speaks to me as it is one that is meant for every person, disabled or not. Working as a school nurse, I see so many kids with 'diagnoses', including many on the autism spectrum. Each and every one is made in God's image and perfect just as they are! They are gorgeous inside and out, and you are gorgeous inside and out!

Birthday Dazzle!
Happy Wednesday, Friends!
Another Wednesday has rolled around and that means another Add a Little Dazzle Challenge! This week we have a color challenge for you~
I used Pucker Me Pink Craft Metal, but you do not have to use pink. You can choose from any or all of the colors below~
Fun image, right?! Love this image, but could not bring myself to do another Easter card, so I made a birthday card using my Reverse Confetti Fabulous Flamingo Stamp Set and matching dies.
I did a little mixed media for the background using Gelatos, an embossing folder and pink ink, then added a doily with a circle die cut from the center and a small ring of pink cardstock to frame it.
Both the bird and the sentiment are popped up on dimensionals.
I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday~

THANK YOU!

A New Guest Gig with Kraftin' Kimmie!
Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!
I am thrilled to have been asked to be a guest designer with Kraftin' Kimmie! I have been in serious coloring mode lately so this bit of news was super fun and exciting for me! Now, on with my first official Kraftin' Kimmie card and the first challenge of the month!
It's Wonderful Wednesday time!! We hope you can play along!! As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!
See?? It is official! I even have a watermark! :) I just had to use my all time favorite Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, Anne of Green Gables, for my first official challenge card. Don't you just love her?! Fun to color too; I love coloring braids!
It is rare anymore, that I do not have some ( or a lot) of white space on my card, but this designer paper was so gorgeous, I just had to cover the card front! I used the colors in the paper to select my Copic colors. I fussy cut Anne out, matted her on vellum so she stood out better against the dp, and popped her up on dimensionals.
So how about you?? Are you ready to play? We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until April 7th at midnight! At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!!! What do you think.....wanna WIN?? Let's see your krafty stuff!! You can link you card/project up on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog.
I am linking up to The Mod Squad Challenge- Tick Tack Toe- I used patterned paper, dimension, rhinestones/pearls, and
The Pink Elephant- 'Anything Goes'.
Copics used~
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed week!
