So ' Mush' New Stuff from Impression Obsession!

 Hello, Hello! 

Welcome to Day 1 of the August (already??) Impression Obsession New Release Blog Hop!  What a feast for the eyes with all of the great new products- many of which are food related!  If you came from Laura Williams's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop.

I.  LOVE.  This.  Stamp!  This is so much fun and you can give him (or her) whatever kind of face you want-or no face at all!  This expression seemed appropriate for the sentiment!  

This is the new, Mushrooms Happen Stamp Set.   The mushroom was stamped in IO Black Ink and then watercolored with Ken Oliver Color Bursts.  While there are face options in this set, I opted for this puzzled look that can be found in the new,  Miss Your Face Stamp Set.  I fussy cut the 'shroom out.  

A piece of monoprint that I made with my Gel Press Gel Plate anchors the left side of the card and a black triangle anchors the 'shroom.  Now, that sentiment!  I just LOVE it!  Stamping it on an angle really gave it the extra something the card needed.  I used my MISTI for perfect placement of the sentiment and stamped in IO Black Ink.  A few sequins finish the card. 

OK, these are just too much fun!  All of these dies- carrot, beet and radish- are part of one die set, aptly named Carrot, Beet and Radish! They were die cut out of white cs and colored with Copics.  Prismacolor Pencils were used as well on the beet. Adding faces is the fun part, lol.  The beet's face is from the Miss Your Face Stamp Set.  His teeth were whitened with a white gel pen!  Both the carrot and the radish faces are from the Sending Smiles Stamp Set.  And the sentiment-there is a fabulous coordinating sentiment set for these dies-Mixed Veggies Sayings-so many humorous sayings!  

And those eyes- can't forgot the eyes!  Impression Obsession now has a set of Googly Eyes that come in all shapes and sizes!
