Hello and happy Friday Eve,
We have officially started our study of Hebrews; in the past I have ignored cross references, but this go around, I decided that with it being Hebrews-which is heavily cross referenced- I would look up and write the verses down.
So here I am, off and running!
It is amazing to see the number of cross references, or, in today's lingo- hyperlinks- throughout scripture. It is impossible to deny the prophetic verses throughout the Old Testament and it is impossible to deny the incredible knowledge of the Old Testament the early Jewish believers had.
I used a downloadable journaling sheet from the Bible Tips and Tricks group on FB. I used Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink around the edges of the sheet and then used Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink and a leaf stencil on top of the lighter green. For a bit more color and texture I sponged Fossilized Amber Oxide Ink through a SnSS Grunge Dots Stencil.
I needed some color- and some flowers- so I stamped the whimsical flowers and a bee from the SnSS Flower Garden Stamp Set. I have a secret- I was not liking the thick cs on my Bible pages nor on my printables like this one. So, I have started stamping my images on heavy weight printer paper. It does fine with Copic markers and lays flat on the paper.
That's all for me! We are one day away from the weekend already!
Thanks for stopping by!
Lee Ann
