Hello Again,
What a relaxing afternoon it has been crafting and doing Bible study. I have discovered a whole new world in understanding the Old Testament and how it relates to the New Testament. Learning about Jewish religion and customs of the day is paramount; I am amazed at how the old and new connect.
Today I focused on the bride and the bridegroom.
Once again, I used a downloadable journaling sheet from the Bible Journaling Tips and Tricks group on FB. I used Distress Oxide inks in Tattered Rose and Evergreen Bough. I stamped the flowers from the My Savior's Love Stamp Set several times, following the rule of 3. I needed to jazz up the flowers, so I stamped them several times in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I fussy cut the flowers out and glued them on the page.
Some have asked where I am getting this information from. I have been watching videos by a Messianic Jew, Rabbi Jason Sobel. He does an amazing job connecting the old testament to the new and it has opened my eyes! I do take notes on the videos and then I do a little research, or digging, to see what else I can find on the subject, including scripture verses. I absolutely love doing this.
Up next- wine.
I hope you are having a restful weekend,
Lee Ann
