Hello!
Mushrooms seem to be a popular image right now. The shrooms in the new set from Sweet n Sassy Stamps are fantastic. The whole set is, really. You are going to see a lot of these stamps. :)
I fell in love with the colors over at Sunday Stamps. Maybe it is because I am a nature girl at heart.
Just Add Ink has the same color palette this week.
I stamped the shrooms from the Colors of Fall Stamp Set using Copics then fussy cut them out. I sponged a light background with distress ink and splattered water on it, then splattered a bit of white acrylic paint. The background needed something else, so I found some silhouette leaves in my stash and stamped them in green. The mushrooms were adhered, popping the tops on them up with dimensional tape. I grounded them with a torn piece of patterned paper from my stash of scraps.
The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and comes from the same stamp set as the shrooms. A few SSS Moonshine Sequins finish the card.
